We bought a set of micro fibre living room furniture when we moved into our current home about 3 years ago and I think it's still in a good condition. However, given the chance to choose again, I will go for the leather ones because it's easier to clean. I think shopping for furniture is very tiring and tedious because you just have to drag yourself to the shops to look at it, feel it, check out the prices, make sure the measurements are right, etc. etc. before deciding on which one to buy.

My friend and I were recently talking about how involved with technology our daily lives have become. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further advances, the possibility of copying our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could experience in my lifetime.
