New 'Toy'

19 months, 3 weeks & 3 days old.....

It actually happened 2 weeks ago. Too lazy to blog about it. It's always hard to keep Ethan quiet for more than 30 minutes with a toy. That day, hubby suddenly got a brilliant idea. He took out a small container, which was full of coins. We usually put all the coins in containers coz we don't have a coin box but Ethan got one from Maybank Yippie Account. The coin box was left there doing nothing but collecting dust for almost a year now. He then taught Ethan to insert the coins to the coin box one by one. That kept him occupied for almost half an hour. It was a little hard for him to insert the smaller coins but 50 sen coins are ok.

Now that the coin box is already full, we need to either take all the coins out before we let him 'play' again or buy a new coin box for him.

Naughty Noo-noo

19 months, 2 weeks & 6 days old.....

We bought a Teletubbies VCD for Ethan to add to his current collection of Barney, Sesame Street, Baby Einstein, So Smart and Baby Genius. He liked it when he watched it for the first time but something unexpected happened when he watched it again. He was scared of something and held on very tightly to us. Both me and hubby were clueless as to what frightened him so much. I thought it was the four colourfull Teletubbies but it turned out to be the vacuum cleaner that looks like an elephant: Noo-noo. It was so hilarious. We never see him being so scared of something in the tv. Every time Noo-noo appeared on the screen, he will find ways to hide. So, I used my hand to cover his eyes but when Noo-noo appeared again unexpectedly, he covered his eyes with his own hands and even dragged mine to cover his eyes. We managed to take a video on it.

A Little Update

19 months, 2 weeks & 2 days old.....

Hmmmm.......Nothing much to write about lately so just want to post a few photos taken during the trip to hubby's hometown.

It was Ethan's first time taking a flight and he was ok with the taking off and landing part. The only problem was being confined to the seat for almost 2 hours. He got a bit restless and refused to sleep during the entire trip there. On our trip back, he was very cranky and cried his lungs out not long after we boarded the plane. I think everyone in the plane could hear him. Luckily he fell asleep shortly after we took off and only woke up right before landing.

Ethan had a very good time the moment we reached SIL's house. It was his first time meeting his cousins (from hubby's side). SIL has 3 boys and Ethan likes to play with the youngest, Ralph, aged 4 (according to my not so reliable memory). Where ever Ralph went or what ever he did, Ethan will sure to follow. He likes older kids but always bully the younger ones. (Telling us he doesn't want a sibling just yet?) He was so hyper all the time and it was a major big headache when it comes to meal & sleeping time. Nevertheless, we all enjoy the stay there.
